Dr. Leonid H. Sorkin has been in private practice for over 17 years. He founded Dr. Sorkin’s Center for Women´s Health. He is double board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecology.
Dr. Sorkin completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Stamford Health Systems and is a distinguished member of Columbia/Cornell’s New York Presbetrian Health Care System. He is a graduate of the exceptional Sackler School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Dr. Sorkin is a formal member of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; American Medical Association; Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery,American Academy of Cosemtic Surgery, and International Society of Cosmetic Gynecology.
Dr. Sorkin expertly delivers over 170 babies every year – that’s over 4,000 babies total and counting! – for both low and high risk pregnancies. He performs the full spectrum of Obstertric, Gynecologic and Cosmetic gynecologic services. For hopeful mothers, Dr. Sorkin also has expertise in treating infertility and reproductive counseling. He is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew.
