BREAST PAIN AND BREAST MASS

Women may experience breast pain in and around the breast tissue on one side or both sides. This pain is a symptom that may be indicative of problems such as breast mass, hormonal over stimulation, strenuous activity, and trauma. Dr.

Sorkin can determine if your breast pain is benign or if it may have cancerous implications by conducting a physical exam and imaging studies of your breast tissue.

Breast mass is an abnormal, usually asymmetric, tissue in the breast. It can be composed of cystic or solid tissue, and can be simple or complex (more serious). Dr. Sorkin can determine if your breast pain is benign or if it may have cancerous implications by conducting a physical exam and imaging studies of your breast tissue. On many occasions, the breast mass needs to be surgically removed in order to avoid possible future breast cancer and eliminate breast pain.
